The objective of our range of firescreens is to allow you to enjoy the pleasures and benefits of an Open Fire safely and to add extra appeal to your fireplace when the fire is not in use.
The range starts with a straightforward all black firescreen for the smaller fireplace with dimensions 26" high and 18" wide and, staying with the black flat fire screens ,extends, with a choice of five sizes, through to the large Hi-Line Plain firescreen, which is also often used with stoves. The Hi-Line fire guard is 32" high and 36" wide.
The most popular size is in fact the middle size firescreen 26" high by 24" wide.
All these flat firescreens are also available with brass top trim and brass handle.
There is yet more choice as you can opt for a traditional scroll pattern on four of these black flat firescreens.
Next there are two sizes of fixed wing or 'shaped' fire screen both available in all black or with a brass handle.
Then there are three sizes of folding screens including the large Hi-Line fire guard.
For those wanting an all enclosing firescreen for the smaller fireplace there is the "wedge" shaped fire screen which is black but can also be chosen with a brass handle and top trim.
Finally - well almost finally - there are two sizes of our all important Nursery Fire guard. You can select either Screw or self Adhesive Security fixtures for these to enable them to be attached firmly to the wall.
In fact despite offering this large range of fire screens which are available ex-stock we also offer a "made to measure" service to make special sizes of most of these fire screens, including the Nursery fire screen made large enough to fit round a substantial stove.

14. FOUR FOLD FIRESCREENS
	Four Fold Firescreens. We offer 2 sizes:- Medium: 36" wide x 24" high (91cm w x 61cm h) Large: 48" wide x 30" high (122cm w x 76cm h) Width dimension quoted above are with the firescreens folded flat. When the 4 Fold firescreens are in position the panels are angled to each other as shown in the picture. This reduces the width of the coverage given by the firescreens to 32" (81cm) for the Medium and 43" (109cm) for the Large. Height coverage is, of course, unchanged.	Prices are: Medium £ 137.30 and Large: £ 165.35 The delivery charge is £25. Both sizes are also available with Brass Top Trim and the prices are: Medium £ 148,75 and Large £ 185.15. 15. NURSERY FIRESCREENS - ALL BLACK

	Picture on the left shows a close up of the fixing hooks - there is one on each side of the rear of each Nursery Firescreen.
	This picture shows the hook engaged into an eyelet which is either screwed into or stuck on the fire surround or wall. This arrangement holds the Nursery Firescreen securely in place.
	To remove the firescreen simply lift it upwards so that the hook comes out of the eyelet.

MORE DETAILS ABOUT OUR NURSERY FIRESCREENS
Some features of our Nursery Firescreens are:- -Rigid fixed construction with fixed top and sides. -Fixing hooks which secure the screen to the wall or fire suround yet allow the screen to easily be removed to reach the fire. -There is a choice of two types of fixing for securing the firescreen to the fire surround or wall. There is the Screw-in version where the eye is screwed into the surround or wall on both sides of the firescreen. The hook on the rear of both sides of the screen fits into these eyes and holds it in place. To release the screen to reach the fire simply lift it upwards. With the Stick-on version the eye is attached to the surround with self adhesive pad.This is particularly suited when there is a marble surround to which the screen must be secured. The hook on the rear of the firescreens is shown in the photo at the end of this note. There are three standard sizes of Nursery Firescreen. The FSN1 which is 24” high, including the handle, 24” wide and 8” deep costs £102.95 plus the £ 22 delivery charge. The FSN2 is 30” high, including the handle, 30” wide and 10” deep. The price is £ 137.30 plus £ 27 for delivery. The FSN3 is 30” high, including the handle, 36” wide and 10” deep. The price is £ 149.65 plus £ 27 for delivery. We regularly make special sizes of Nursery Fireguards and often these are made so that they can be folded away after the winter.
Another popular request is for larger sizes of flat black fire screens for use with fireplaces in Country Houses. Essentially these are larger versions of our popular FSH and FSHL fire screens shown above. We have special boxes so that these large screens can be safely shipped around the country.
